CBI Advisory

Custom Brazil–China research

For questions that standard products do not answer, we research by project. We start by agreeing the question, the scope and the limits.

What we do

Custom research

Structured research on one concrete business question: market and competition, policy and access conditions, and cross-checks on both sides. Conclusions state their basis and their uncertainty.

Company verification

Public-record checks on companies in China and Brazil, with sources noted and open questions listed. Deliverables are currently written in Portuguese or Chinese.

Market entry research

For Chinese companies entering Brazil and Brazilian companies looking at China: possible routes, thresholds, and the conditions to clear before deciding.

Local execution is done by partner institutions

Legal, tax, finance, certification, registration and logistics work is carried out by qualified partner institutions. CBI helps define the need and choose a route; research conclusions do not change with the outcome of an introduction.

What we do not do

  • Research is not legal review, audit, investment advice or transaction valuation.
  • We do not rate individual securities or recommend buying or selling them.
  • Work that needs professional licensing is done by qualified institutions.

Research and execution are kept apart

Conclusions are not set by commercial interests. Where a fee, investment or partnership relationship exists between the subject of a study and CBI, its team or its partners, it is stated under the disclosure rules. Execution stays with partner institutions and is not mixed into a research deliverable.

How we work

  1. 01

    Describe the question

Tell us what you need to assess, what it is for, and your organisation.

  2. 02

    Agree scope and limits

After we reply, we settle what we will and will not do.

  3. 03

    Research and checking

We work from public sources and check key facts one by one.

  4. 04

    Delivery and corrections

Conclusions come with their basis; errors are handled under the corrections policy.
